INTROCON

General information
The steel-cord conveyor belt flaw detector INTROCON is designed for nondestructive inspection of steel cords inside a conveyor belt during operation in mining and power industry, at steel mills, seaports, etc.
The INTROCON detects broken cords and rates level of corrosion of steel cords. The INTROCON is capable of measuring the distance between ends of cords within belt splice in order to prevent break of the belt.
The INTROCON operates electromagnetic method of non-destructive testing. The instrument can inspect conveyor belts with the following parameters:
Width of the belt: | from 600 mm to 3000 mm | Diameter of cords: | from 3 mm to 15 mm
Belt thickness: | from 10 mm to 50 mm; | Belt speed: | from 0,1 m/s to 7 m/s
Number of cords in the belt: | from 50 to 200 |
The INTROCON comprises the scanner, and the basic unit connected with cable. Scanners of all types correspond to IP54 ingress protection rate; the basic unit corresponds to IP65 ingress protection rate.
The software Wintrocon is intended for downloading data from the basic unit and further processing and investigation. The software Wintrocon RTV enables to follow the inspection traces on-line, i.e. during inspection run.
